BID Governance

The Oxted BID

The Oxted Business Improvement District (BID), known as Love Oxted, operates in a defined geographical area and is funded by businesses in the BID area who pay the equivalent of 2% of their Business Rates in the form of a levy.

BID Business Plan

The levy pays for the projects which were defined in the Business Plan and will be delivered over a five year period. The Business Plan for the current BID period can be downloaded here.

The BID is run as an independent, not-for-profit company known as Oxted BID Ltd delivering projects that are in addition to local authority services. The BID is controlled through a board of directors that represent businesses and stakeholders in the town. All businesses in the BID area are able to be a member of the BID company. The BID Manager drives the delivery of the business plan.
