Tandridge District Council wants to hear from residents and interested parties on how they think the Council should improve open spaces across the district.
Open spaces are integral to our communities and have taken on extra importance during the recent pandemic. As part of the Council’s work on its draft Open Space Strategy, it is asking residents for their thoughts, to understand how they would like the Council to provide, manage, maintain and get the best use out of the district’s many parks and open spaces.
This builds on the Council’s work in July 2019, when it asked residents how they would like to use the district’s parks and open spaces, both now and in the future.
To help the Council continue to manage and improve open spaces for the next five years, it really needs the input and ideas of residents and interested parties, in terms of how the Council can make the district’s open spaces areas people want to regularly use and visit.
The draft strategy is a great opportunity for everyone to get involved and have their say in shaping the future use of the district’s open spaces.
Everyone has until 5 pm on Monday 9 November 2020 to give their views, either by e-mailing openspaces@tandridge.gov.uk or in writing to: The Strategy Team, Open Space Strategy Consultation, Tandridge District Council, Council Offices, 8 Station Road East, Oxted, Surrey RH8 0BT.
More information can be found on the Council’s website.
