Surrey’s 10 best places to live includes Oxted, according to Muddy Stilettos and Surrey Live…
Villages and town across the county were included in Muddy Stilettos best places to live list, reports Surrey Live.

It will come as no surprise to Oxted residents that our town is on that list!
Muddy Stilettos has published its list of the best places to live in Surrey, with places big and small included with a few surprising omissions. The what’s on guide website published its top 25 places to live outside of London and with its pretty market towns, stunning villages and rolling countryside it’s no surprise a total of 10 places in the county have been selected.
These include well-known towns like Reigate, with its multitude of independent stores, and Cobham which is well-known as Surrey’s centre for celebrity sightings. Less familiar places are also included, such as Englefield Green, based close to Staines, and Ripley which has connections with rock icons Eric Clapton and Paul Weller.
All of the places on Muddy Stilettos’ list are spread out fairly evenly across the county with the most northern settlement Esher and the most southern Haslemere. While Surrey is well represented there are some notable snubs including Wokingand Guildford.
Muddy Stilettos’ website states: “Surrey has a lot to offer – not least that it’s well connected to the capital, the south coast and two international airports. This really is a destination offering the best of all worlds.”
