All About Oxted
With many Tudor-style buildings, a vibrant community spirit and a well-connected train station, it is a popular place to live and a hub for people who live in the surrounding villages.
Oxted is a vibrant and friendly town situated at the foot of the North Downs in the east of Surrey.
Listed in the Domesday Book of 1086, Oxted has a long history but its first major expansion came with the arrival of the railway in 1884. The town grew and prospered into the thriving community that we have today.
Oxted is in a beautiful location, surrounded by countryside whilst benefiting from an excellent rail and road network being only 5 minutes drive from the M25 and 20 minutes from Gatwick airport. Visitors can travel by rail from London to Oxted in only 30 minutes.
