Download your clue sheets (and cheat sheet for parents!) from the loveoxted.co.uk website (link to Halloween post is on our Insta bio) OR you can pick up a sheet from the Oxted Library from Friday.

DON’T FORGET: There will be spooky Halloween fun this Saturday for our Spooky Saturday - with witches about town; The Sanderson Sisters outside Boots (or if it’s properly raining inside Robert Leech), free face painting in Starbucks, crafts in Oxted Library and Oxted Desserts & Crafts Halloween treats and crafty entertainment for their opening on Station Road West.

It was lovely to pop round to The Woodhouse Centre

It was lovely to pop round to The Woodhouse Centre this morning and meet Mike Bull, our wonderful Community Champion at Morrisons Oxted.
Morrisons has just awarded The woodhouse centre a whopping £7489 from the Morrisons Foundation Community Spaces Fund as part of their 125 year anniversary celebrations.
Each of the 500 stores around the country nominated a deserving community organisation of charity to be the recipient of up to £8000 and The Woodhouse Centre was one of 125 chosen.
The funds will go to creating a lovely garden space around the side of the building, which will also be a remembrance garden.
Some of the money will also go to installing sound rafts inside the centre to help with acoustics and enable better experience for all the lovely people who use the facility on a daily basis.
Well done to both Morrisons and The Woodhouse Centre for this great initiative.

Very happy to see that Toast is back!

Jason and the team have had a very tough time due to flooding and a lot of damage back in August following the amazing storm that washed through Oxted.
According to Jason, “It’s been a monumental task to get back up and running but made possible and driven by some of the most extreme acts of kindness. From people sacrificing their time to help out, sending the kindest notes or simply listening - it’s all helped make the re opening possible.”

Please bear with them as they get back on their feet this week, and keep your ears to the ground / eyes to social media for some “exciting things to bring to you” over the coming weeks!

There have been some changes to the interior and you’ll find their fab new coffee bar across the back, which looks great, as does the autumn window! 🍂🎃

Please support them and make sure you pop in for breakfast / brunch / coffee over the coming weeks.
