For global photography day, 19th August, we want to see your photos: businesses, places, buildings, faces…what makes oxted unique?
What better way to celebrate all that’s great about Oxted than through your photos, showing what you love about your town – the faces, places, buildings, green spaces, shops, cafes, bars and other businesses.
So we want you to send us your photos showing Oxted as a great place to live, work, shop and visit.
We’ll feature your photos on our website and social media – credited to you – and five lucky winners will get £20 vouchers to spend in local businesses.
Judging by our very own local photographer, Matt Talboys, aka @hudds_photos.
All you need to do is one of the following:
- Post to your social feed, tagging @loveoxted and any businesses featured in them. hashtag #oxtedphotocomp
- Post and mention @loveoxted in your stories.
- DM them to @loveoxted Instagram.
- Email them to: marketing@loveoxted.co.uk – subject Oxted Photo Comp

Terms and Conditions
- The competition is run by The Oxted BID Limited (aka Love Oxted) for the promotion of business in Oxted, Surrey. August 2023.
- Photos must be received by 12pm on Saturday 19th August 2023
- Only photos of Oxted, Surrey will be considered.
- Photos will be judged by @Hudds_Photos with Sophie Martin of Love Oxted (The Oxted BID)
- By submitting photos, the owners give their permission for the use of said photos on Love Oxted’s social media and website to promote Oxted, Surrey and its local businesses.
- Winners will be notified by 12pm on Sunday 20th August 2023
- In order to claim £20 “voucher”, winners must send Love Oxted a receipt or proof of purchase from an Oxted BID (Station Road East and Station Road West) business within 3 months of the competition closure.
- Love Oxted (the Oxted BID) will transfer to £20 to the winner’s bank account on receipt of proof of purchase.
- Prize cannot be exchanged for cash.
