This week Rachel from Instagram’s @grapesandcloth took a walk around her home town and ours, Oxted, Surrey and highlighted some of the wonderful independent boutiques and fashion shopping we are very lucky to have on our doorstep…

“It’s quite a rare thing to have a high street without chains or brands. My little town, nestled between Reigate and Sevenoaks has, if you look, everything you need,” says Rachel.
“From preloved designer bags, clothes and shoes at Fusspotts, cosy knitted dresses, jumpers and coats at Number 44, sunglasses, slippers and socks at La Maison Boutique, hats and belts at Mint Boutique and Italian fashion at Jules Boutique – they all have much much more, but you get the idea!
“All these fabulous little boutiques have something for everyone and everywhere I went I was greeted with warmth, a smile and chat. Got to love where you live, #loveoxted !”
