“There are of course package deals you can organise yourself direct,” says Anne, “but not everyone has the time, destination knowledge or inclination to go trawling through the various travel sites in order to do so.”
Between them, the four consultants have over a 100 years of experience and in-depth knowledge of different areas of the world. Each member of the Ashdown Travel Team is genuinely interested in travel and has travelled the world extensively, with specific areas of expertise, according to their own experiences. “One of the many benefits to using an agency like ours is that you get an allocated consultant who deals with you direct at every stage of the process,” says Anne. “The majority of our clients are local; but a good number no longer live near Oxted but continue to book with us because of the good relationship that we’ve built with them. We’re only ever a phone call or email away and we are very happy to continue dealing with our clients, wherever they live!”
