Oxted Parish Councillor, Peter Giles, leader of the project said:
“We are really pleased that following a huge amount of time and effort by a great many people, we have managed to see this project through to launch. It is through all the above communities coming together that this initiative has been possible.”

Adrian Pointer, owner of Simply Sports and Board Director of the Oxted BID said:
“This is a very welcome initiative, and we hope that in conjunction with in-store CCTV, DISC (our secure reporting system) and our Shop Alert group, we will be able to restore confidence to businesses owners and assist the police to significantly reduce the amount of both targeted and opportunistic shoplifting in the town.”

Councillor Catherine Sayer, leader of Tandridge District Council added: “We want to do all we can to ensure residents can visit and shop safely in Oxted and Hurst Green and that businesses flourish and staff are safe”.
