Only a couple of weeks to go to the biggest event on Oxted’s annual calendar – the beer festival or “Oxted Festival” as it’s officially known. Apparently pared back this year, there is still loads to hear, drink, eat and do.
This is THE best weekend in Oxted, with a huge turnout to celebrate everything that’s great about our town with brilliant local beers, delicious street food and some cracking bands, culminating with Oxted’s finest (and always the best band of all), Randy & The Rockets.
Watch a bit of cricket, have a dance and a singalong, groove to some Ibiza sounds in the cool kids’ tents and try the silent disco; sip some Pimms and generally have an excuse for a catch up with all your mates in the sunshine!
It’s always a brilliant time.
This year there is an outdoor stage featuring great bands, a smaller stage in the Main bar and Cafe Del Parque with your favourite DJs, cocktail bar and great vibes.
There’s also additional entertainment for the little ones on the Saturday and Sunday during the day. It’s all about FUN! And most importantly, about raising money for local community organisations and charities.

Don’t forget while you’re in town for the festival, there are plenty of other shops, cafes, bars, pubs and restaurants on both sides of the town who would love to see you too! So remember to support all local businesses while you’re in Oxted.
