Oxted will be taking part in Totally Locally Fiver Fest this March 11-25th

If everyone in Oxted spent ยฃ5 per week in local independent businesses instead of online, it would generate ยฃ2.2 million for the local economy. So as part of Totally Locally’s national high street campaign, Oxted will be taking part in #fiverfest this March 11-25th.

If you are an Oxted business and want to take part – offering a special deal for ยฃ5 over the 2-week period, please let us know.

Weโ€™ll be distributing digital posters and graphics for qualifying Oxted businesses to print and use for in-store offers and on social media. If you are part of the BID, you will receive an email with graphics etc to use. If you are not part of the BID but think you meet the #FiverFest criteria, just contact marketing@loveoxted.co.uk to participate.

Included in your graphics pack, as well as the posters and images for social, are:

  • A bunting design to print if you want to make more of your windows/displays!
  • Some labels/stickers to print if you wish to use these
  • A design for a selfie frame to use if you can print up to A1 size
  • ‘Locally Owned’ poster + social image set which matches the Fiver Fest colours – could be used alongside or after FF.
  • Fiver Fest Guidelines PDF – please read all of this!

There is also a heap of info on how to get the best out of Fiver Fest here: https://totallylocally.org/fiver-fest/how-to-do-a-fiver-fest/

Criteria

  • You must be an Oxted-based, independent, bricks and mortar business.
  • Small locally-based chains may also take part.
  • We’re sorry but under Totally Locally rules, larger chains, franchises and national businesses are not eligible for #totallylocally campaigns. This is all about championing the little businesses and supporting local, giving the opportunity to independent businesses who don’t benefit from the marketing opportunities afforded by being part of a larger business/franchise etc. You will however still benefit from the additional buzz around the town!
